Looks like an attempt coordinated by their underworld master to take over the Christian name for themselves, leaving all else rejected of God. Clearly they are teaching another god. What does Deuteronomy 13:7,9,10 tell us? Wolves in sheeps clothing comes to mind. Not that we should go out and load up guns or knives, but that is the gravity of the serious spot satan has bound these deceived people. | ||

That is a really good question, Gilbert. It seems to be part of the "hide-in-plain-sight" program they're operating. They are not changing at all, yet they are more and more attempting to be embraced as a mainstream Protestant church. I have a theory that they are meeting with some success in this attempt because of the spreading "emergent" movement within evangelicalism. The emergent church is losing the focus on the true gospel, and it is forging connections with groups that have not been considered part of evangelical Christianity, even respecting the insights about God that can be gleaned from non-Christian religions. Adventism fits well in this emergent milieu. It is chameleon-like, and it can hide will in a tolerant, accepting environment that doesn't demand much in terms of biblical doctrinal purity. I agree, Adventism has not changed. No matter what any Adventism says, the 28 Fundamental Beliefs are still there. Not a one has been repudiated by the church. Diana | ||

Yes Gilbert the question of trying to gain acceptance among churches that are "unacceptable" always plagued me. When I was SDA, I always tried to befriend but still offend people from other churches. It is amazing how I was able to keep 2 opposing ideas in my head |
