I am continuing to give out Dale's booklets to Evangelical churches and wanted to share with you some of my experiences: At one church the administrative assistant was familiar with Adventists because a number of years ago the church that she was attending and an Adventist church shared the same building (it was owned by the Adventists). She welcomed the booklet because she did not have anything in writing as to what they believed. At another church the pastor's wife is working for an Adventist nursing home. The pastor shared with me that she is frustrated because they initially indicate that they are born-again Christians that worship on Saturday but then she senses that there is much more that is not Biblical but they are quite secretive about their beliefs. I also gave them Greg's book and my prayer is that she will be a witness to the staff there. Another pastor had two aunts who were Adventists but apparently they did not try to convert his family (who were born-again Christians). He also welcomed the booklet so that he had their beliefs in writing. Another pastor shared with me that he had received his Revelation Speaks Peace brochure in the mail and because there was no church identified on the brochure he went on the computer and checked out It Is Written. As soon as he saw who was putting it on he threw out the brochure. Everyone has been very appreciative of the information that I am giving them and I am looking forward to taking more of them around in the next couple of weeks. Blessed |

Thank you blessed for sharing that with us, I think that this is much needed education, I approached my Pastor to see what he knew and seems what he thought was that Adventist were just other Christians who worshipped on Saturday and that was about all he knew. So I promptly shipped him about 30 pages of info and a CD and he was really appreciative of the info, he is also the chaplain for the local fire dept. I really don’t think anyone in my church is aware of what Adventism is all about, I figure if it’s that way here it is that way pretty much all over. If you get to do any more contacts would you share with us the results? If you would it would be appreciated. River |

Literature is a proven, most effective way to share your faith. You can't argue with a printed page. Also, nobody needs to know that you are reading it. The Jehovah's Witnesses depend on this medium almost exclusively in their evangelism. Horace Mann aptly stated: "A house without books is like a room without windows." Therefore, share your faith--the literature way! Dennis Fischer |
