After the 9 AM church service, I go to Guest Central to greet visitors, answer any questions they may have and pray with them, if they want. Today a young couple was ushered to me. I gave them my name and asked theirs. I asked where they go to church, how many times they had been at CCC. They answered. I told them this is the church God told me to go to when I left my church that had some cult like beliefs. The man asked what church that was and I told him, Seventh day Adventist. His response was, I was an SDA for 15 years. He did not tell me much of his background, but I gave them my phone number. They both asked it I always am in guest central after the first service. When I said yes, they said they would see me next week. Now, isn't that a God incident?? I told him about FAF also. Then I went to the book store to buy a book to read while I was waiting for a friend. I started talking to one of the pastoral staff and found he knows about SDA's cult like beliefs. I told him I had given Jud, the senior pastor, some books written by former SDA ministers. So I found another pastor who knows about adventism and their true beliefs and I met the former SDA in that large crowd. A true God incident. God is so awesome in how He works. Diana |

Diana thank you for sharing your encounters. God is really using your experience as an SDA to bless others. Today when I went to church I talked to the assistant pastor for the first time. It turns out that half of his family his SDA. He was raised Baptist, but is very familiar with the SDA church and the errors in their theology. It was so nice to talk to a pastor who actually understands where I have come from! It has only taken me three years, but I think I have found a church that I can be comfortable worshipping in. |

Busymom, It is so nice to meet a pastor who understands from where you came. I am so glad you are comfortable worshipping there. That is what I call a God incident. Our senior pastor only knew that Walter Martin did not consider SDA a cult. Two years ago August I took him 5-6 books written by former adventist ministers. Now God has me educating the minister for the care ministries about adventism. I will be taking him a couple of Ratzlaff books as soon as I get them. Keep on talking to others about what adventism teaches. Our God is so awesome with His God incidents. Diana |

Diana, what an awesome experience! Isn't it affirming and reassuring when you see God making connections like that? It wastes nothing—even our Adventism—and redeems everything we submit to Him. Colleen |

Colleen, More and more I understand when you say, God wastes nothing and redeems everything we submit to Him. God brings people into my path and gives me the opportunity to tell them about Him or about adventism. It humbles me. After all I am not some great person/speaker. I am just a foremr SDA who loves God and does not want any more people decieved by those beliefs. He is so awesome. Diana |
