Pardon my ignorance but I thought that the only people that lived on the Pitcarin Islands were SDA. According to the info on the chart there are 22 SDA's living there. Am I mixing this up with another island. It has been years since I left but I am sure that it was the Pitcarin Islands that I was told was exclusively SDA - everything shut down on the island on Saturdays. Blessed |

You're not mixed up. It's just that it is no longer peopled by 100% church members. From the statistics it looks like slightly less than fifty percent are now church members. So far as I know the rest of the islanders are either formers that have quit the church, or children of church members who never joined. |
