Colleen, I was thinking today about some of the people who have been on the forum over the years and wondered where they are now. I was thinking of one person in particular. I thought maybe you might know. His name is Joel and he had joined the military. If my memory serves me correctly, he was a non-former who had married a SDA. He was real big on Bob George, and in fact he led me to read George's book "Classic Christianity," which proved to be a watershed experience for me. Do you remember Joel? Do you know anything about where he is at and what may have happened with his wife. Last I remember, they had just had a child. Thanks | ||

Doug, I haven't heard from Joel in quite a long time. I can't remember exatly how long ago it was, but Joel was deployed for a term of oversees duty. He actually posted here a few times from--I believe it was Iraq--and then he came back home, and he and his wife and two children settled in California, last I heard, on a military base. Yes, Classic Christianity was a watershed experience for me as well. Colleen |
