Okay , I looked at the "National Sunday Law" address label today that I got in the mail on Friday and it said "Resident". When I first got it, I thought they sent it to me specifically because I used to be an Adventist and was on their mailing list. However, I called a neighbor today and she told me she got one too. I told her it was Seventh-day Adventist material and she said, "what's up with that?" They sent this out to the EVERYONE in my neighborhood. Time for me to get to know more of my neighbors I should say. They are trying to build a church in my neighborhood. Are they getting desperate or something? Or becoming more cultish? Or what? I'm angry about it.

Lynne, They are doing what they think God wants them to do and that is warning everyone about the Sunday laws, soon to come. Of course, we know that is not Biblical. Pray and ask God what to do about it. Remember our Awesome God is in charge, no matter what. Diana |

Lynne, Several months ago, we also got a booklet in the mail entitled "National Sunday Law" without any return address. It was mailed here in Lincoln, Nebraska, so someone who knows us probably sent it. When still a teenager in western North Dakota, I helped in the local church mailing of a tract entitled, "THIS MAY STARTLE YOU BUT JESUS KEPT THE SABBATH." It may startle many Seventh-day Adventists to know that Jesus kept Sunday holy several times a year as well (smile). Dennis Fischer |

Lynne, show this site to your neighbor http://www.ellenwhite.org/nsl/egw22a.htm I actually downloaded it, printed it, took it to a print shop and had booklets made of it. Then I gave them all away to my questioning SDA friends. Check it out. ts |

Maybe us formers should evangalize SDA parking lots by placing Sunday law "facts" and history tracts on their windshields whilst they're inside bad-mouthing the apostate Sunday churches. Sometimes I am tempted to start a rumor - the Adventist church is dead. The Kool Aid is gone now folks. Now before y'all do somethin' stupid, start lookin' fer some Real Water - Jesus, first, last and only. We must get over ourselves, repent and be baptized in the Spirit. All religious formulas for salvation that do not start and end with Jesus Christ are garbage, so throw your religious trash out and get real with Him. Steve |

Steve and Timmy I like those ideas! The whole "Sunday Law" idea is only there to cause fear and paranoia, and I guess, boost membership in the SDA church. It's sad when any organization has to use fear and paranoia to add or keep members. If that's not a red (cult) flag, I don't know what is! Leigh Anne |

Leigh, You are right. A comment that was once made said "all cults begin with fear, the fear in Adventism begins with the 'Sunday Laws." I know this to be an accurate statement because the fear of 'Sunday" kept me from looking for many years. Even though I knew something was wrong with where I was. |

When I lived in Loma Linda, Ca, I had a pickup truck with a Harvest Crusade sticker on the back. When I got out of the Stater Bros. grocery store, there was a "National Sunday Law" book in the back of my pickup truck. I already had at least one copy, so I knew what to do with it! |
