look at www.minneapolis2008.org It looks like several quotes from posters here and on the CARM board have been quoted. This does the standard "all ex's are hurt/angry" defense. Not surprising, but sad. |

Yes. What is even sadder is that the person who posted those quotes came here, was a member here for a time, asked questions, and then gleaned from the responses for that site and for who knows what else. As you said, not surprising, but sad. Mary |

I wasnít going to post this, but I might as well post it. it was in answer to Jeremyís post when Jeremy said walk twisted what he said. So here was my answer to Jeremy and it serves as answer to this one as well. ****************************************************************** I took a look at the stuff you were talking about on that other website, I kind of took a glance through his cut and paste of the snippets. Looks like Colleen and Proclamation is taking most of the heat though, if indeed his one man Blog could be called heat. According to him Colleen should have ejected me from the forum and then ejected herself for ever allowing me on here in the first place. Now that was funny, I donít care what anybody says. Ejected herself! It is rather complimentary that my Vietnam analogy got full page, no snippets there much. And all that compliments of the U.S. Army, now if I just hadnít got mixed up with that military crowd I would have been straight in the head Iím sure. Just look at me! I could have been in the San Francisco air port throwing rotten food at the troops as they got off the plane instead of running around out in the boonies acting crazy. He did say that he was praying for me that I would turn my God given writing talents to good use, apparently they are being wasted on the forum, I suppose I could write a novel instead of getting up every morning spending precious time in prayer and meditation on the Bible and attempting to understand such a thing as my church group, my Adventist friends, theology, seeking God about salvation, former Adventist, all that stuff, after all, the six hours a day I spend doing stuff like that may be better put to use in writing a novel or exploring the mating habits of a horse fly. I just canít imagine little old me drawing that amount of attention from his highnesses one man blog. But alas children, it is not my writing that has drawn his attention, it is that he uses my words in an attempt to discredit the forum, it is the forum that has drawn his attention and his hate and loathing of Colleen and proclamation. Wish I could take the credit but that would be dishonest and proud and haughty of me when I know better. To all on the forum, when he twist your words in his cutting and pasting manner it is an attempt to discredit the forum and the folk who sponsor it. It was his intention when he first started writing on here, his foray into ìThe boys locker roomî. Has my words caused a quake through out the Adventist church? Doubtful. Has his prideful one man blog? Doubtful Will his whining draw the attention of the 14 million Adventist trunk with its roots set down in the 1844 fiasco? Doubtful. He might as well be whacking his head against an iron post as to think he is causing a ripple in the Adventist church. I have a lot more respect for my Adventist acquaintances, although I truly feel they are deceived in their thinking, at least they are steadfast, sincere people that hold no personal animosity toward any one that I know of. Now I donít want to start another big ìWalkî discussion, please, please, donít do that, it is a total waste of time. I am writing this to try to bring an awareness of the real core of the situation, there again if you can term a one man blog a situation, that what has drawn the ire of this little man is Colleen, the forum and its sponsors. Look at it like this, if he is busy pilfering around on here for his ìAmmoî and muttering and cutting and pasting at least itís giving the Adventist some relief. Like the old boy said who climbed the tree for a raccoon and found a wildcat ìJust shoot up in here, somebody has got to have some relief!î If the forum disappeared today he wouldnít have anything to put in his one man blog. This forum and the people on it has my prayers and financial support, pitiful as that support is. At least itís one vote!! By the way, Colleen wouldnít want me to write this, but if you havenít given financial support to Proclamation, please do, a dollar stuck in an envelope is better that nothing. I said all that with a River

River Thanks for mentioning the financial part. This ministry has meant a lot to me, too. Bob

I am suprised they didn't quote me the way I bash the GC all the time. Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny how SDA's always talk about their Constitutional Rights, but I guess the 1st Ammed. doesn't apply to this of us who "left the flock". |

This was the first time I saw WOWs website. I wondered what happened to him. I find it very amusing that his site shows so much concern that former Adventist are on a Former Adventist website talking about why they are former Adventist. Why is this such a mysterious concept? I also found it amusing (not surprising) that my words on his site were half quoted and the points that I made at the end of statements were deleted. Hey, that's the SDA way! I would have been shocked to see it any other way. This mentality reminds me of all the emphasis SDA's put on Dan 8:14; and how little or no regard is given to Dan 8:13... but that is another issue. Yeah, I don't know what the formula is for picking and choosing "attacks", but again, he's doing absolutely nothing new. He's still trying to recruit members instead of simply spreading the Gospel and leading people to Christ. One thing very apparent, he eats up any and all attention. That being said, it's probably best to just ignore him...

Well, it's kind of hard to spread the Gospel when you don't believe in it... Jeremy |

The SDAs are getting desperate. Their leadership KNOWS many of their doctrines are fals so they're resorting to tactics like this. |
