Hello everybody Colleen and Richard, would you like to make available a Spanish forum? I've mailed you about it a couple of times, and I'm not sure if my emails has gotten through to you? In Jesus, Martin |

Hi Martin, Yes--we want to have a Spanish section in this FAF forum! I will be in touch... Pray for me that I will get over a flu-like bug that's got me down with a fever. Richard |

AMEN to this. Being of Hispanic descent, but not being native Spanish speaking, I have wanted to do something for our Spanish speaking brothers and sisters. I will continue to pray for this and all involved. I do speak enough Spanish to speak to my patients and I can write some, but not enough to write long articles. Of course if that is what God wanted of me, He would give me the ability. Diana |

Diana, thanks for praying. The ministry is going forward steadily, new articles , links, teachings etc. are being added continually. One thing that would be great, would be spanish mp3's, both testimonies and teaching, especially teaching. In Jesus, Martin |

I will try to write my testimony in Spanish. It has been a long time and I am sure I will make many grammatical errors, but I will try. Diana |

That would be really great! Everybody, write your testimonies in Spanish or have them translated, and I'll make sure to put them up on exadventista.com |

Wow. Something stirs in me and I add my prayers even more to this now! I'm half-Mexican but can't speak Spanish (my father's mother & grandmother became Adventist and so they severed any contact with Mexican-Catholic culture... my father's generation can still speak Spanish, but my brother and I can't). I have a longing to reconnect with those roots someday, and I know there is a lot of fervor among Hispanic SDA churches. So I'm adding my prayers! I may ask a friend to translate my exit letter. (If I was daring, I might ask my father, although his Spanish is rusty). My heart & prayers are with you all! |

Agapetos, Write you testimony and submit it to FAF to be printed on here. Once it is on here, go to the home page of the forum, hit the spanish button, then go to stories, select yours, it will come up in Spanish. Then go to print on your computer and it will be printed in Spanish for you. Mwh, Where do I submit it?? OH, Thanks Richard and Colleen for this feature. Isn't God awesome??? Diana |

Agapetos, I am of Mexican descent, also, from both sides-father and mother. But we did not disconnect from the Catholic family on my Mom's side. Dad's side is SDA. So I grew up with knowledge of some Mexican history, love of Mexican music, especially the Mariachi and even though we were not taught Spanish, a love of the Spanish language. I learned Spanish in high school and college and conversationally in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I have lived in Miami, FL where I had to speak it every day. Where I work now, in a hospital, I am given the Spanish speaking patients. I like that as I get to practice my imperfect Spanish. The patients correct me when needed. Now that I am a Christian, I can really appreciate my Mexican heritage. As an SDA I sometimes felt that I should not enjoy the music so much and some of the customs that my Mom would tell us about. That is in the past and thank God for that. He is so awesome. Diana

Diana, just send it to exadventista@gmail.com But remember that google isn't the perfect translator, you just can't do it completely the way you described above. It is a good way to do some automatic work, but you have to go through it all and correct, correct and then correct some more |
