I consider the prayer chain a VERY IMPORTANT thing for us formers. So I move it so that newcomers will not miss it. Here is what the prayer chain is about. WEEKLY PRAYER CHAIN-FRIDAY AT SUNDOWN AND SATURDAY AT 1 PM PT AND WHAT EVER THE CORRESPONDING TIME IS IN YOUR TIME ZONE. This is to let all the new people know about the prayer chain. The prayer chain is important to each of us, as this is when we pray together for our loved ones still in the clutches of the SDA church/Satan/EGW. The first time we pray is Friday evening at sundown in our own time zones. The second time is Saturday afternoon at 1 PM, PT, 4 PM ET and what ever the time is in your time zone. On Saturday we pray as a group, even though we are scattered. But God is still in the midst of us and hears our prayers. Here is our list of who we pray for: 1. All SDAs from the GC down to the smallest church in the world. 2. All unchurched members. All the agnostics, atheists and unbelievers who are former SDAs. 3. All those who are coming under the influence of SDAs through such things as the SDA friends,Revelation Seminars and baptismal classes. 4. All Christians who think SDAs are just another Christian church. 5. All those writing on R/S, Spectrum, CARM and similar sites. 6. All SDA children who are being exposed to The Clear Word for Kids and other distinctive SDA doctrine that is not Biblical. 7. We pray for each other, that God will use us to teach others His love and about what Jesus did for each of us and that the Holy Spirit fill us. 8. Dirk Anderson and the hassle he is receiving from the White estate. That God will be glorified in what ever happens and that Adventism will be exposed for what they really teach. 9. If God wills we have another reunion next year. We are physically separated, but spiritually we are one as we pray and God is in the midst of us, with the Holy Spirit taking our prayers to the Father. What a group we are connected with. It could not get any better, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Matt 7:7 Ask and it will be given you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. v. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the seeker finds, and to him who knocks it is opened. Berkeley Version, Modern English Bible. We will be asking, seeking and knocking on Friday and Saturday, and in our daily prayers, for all our requests and God does hear us and answers us. That is a promise and God keeps His promises. Join us at our prayer times Friday at sundown and Sat at 1 PM, PT. I look forward to all of us praying at the same time. God is receiving all these prayers at the same time. He is answering our prayers in ways we cannot see, at this time. Our God is awesome. Diana

Lord, thank You for putting Your heart in Diana for the children You love so much in Adventism. Thank You for this call to prayer, this call to receive Your heart and to cry out to You on behalf of those who need You so much, of those who need Your rest, Lord, just as much as we ourselves did and still do. Pour out Your heart into us, Lord. Break our hearts with the things that break Your heart. Continue to call us into intercession for the people on Your heart. Forgive me for saying 'they' and 'us' so often. I stand in the same need of Your grace that they do. Bless them, Lord, with Your presence and lead them deeper and deeper into You. Thank You for saying that You do not despise Your captive children (Ps.69:33). Please set Your captives free, Jesus! Send Your word to them, and send us to them. Pour us out so that even one may know You. In Jesus' name, amen. |

Diana, I will figure out what the times are here in my little corner of the planet, and I will pray with you. Also, thank you for your prayers. At the time I did not know you were all praying, but I know now those prayers must have helped when I was trying to pull free from adventism. Blessings toria |

Thanks Diana for the reminder. Ramone, thanks for that prayer. I too have been guilty of the "us" vs "them" mentality. It is only by grace alone that any of us have been delivered from a damaging legalistic system. It is so important to pray about how best to witness the grace of Christ to our SDA friends and relatives, and all others caught up in works-righteousness systems. Stan |

Diana, I didn't know about this but I will be taking part. At sundown this evening and every Friday I will be in San Francisco-Sodom by the Sea. If God can hear a prayer coming out of there then He truly is an awesome God as you say. Saturday at 1:00 PM Pacific is not always as easy because I'm often asleep at that time after working all night Friday and preparing for another all-nighter on Saturday night. CW |

Toria, When the prayer chain was started, all I knew was that God would hear the prayers and answer them. It is so good to meet some one that was helped, while they were transitioning, by those prayers. Thank you God for answering these prayers and that Toria is one of those who were helped. As always God, You are awesome. Diana |

Cw, San Francisco is called Sodom by the Sea and Las Vegas is called Sin City. So God is truly AWESOME to hear and answer prayers from either of these cities He is AWESOME. Diana |

And isn't Los Angeles really meant to be spelled Lost Angels? And California is really full of Californiacs and though it doesn't snow along the coast isn't it still filled with flakes? Don't get me wrong. I love California Lynne

And here I thought Los Vegas was just mis-spelling of Lost Wages! |

Diana, on Friday at sunset I found a spot from Pacific Heights-high rent district in San Francisco. The sun, although largly shrouded in fog as usual there, sat right behind the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge and I had a great time of prayer. Thank you for sharing about the prayer chain. You probably need to do that occasionally for new people that join the forum. Anyway, I plan to take my digital camera with me next Friday and hope for a more lovely sunset while I pray. That view along with a beautiful sunset would make a great desktop photo. CW |

A REMINDER FOR THE WEEKLY PRAYER CHAIN-FRIDAY AT SUNDOWN AND SATURDAY AT 1 PM PT AND WHAT EVER THE CORRESPONDING TIME IS IN YOUR TIME ZONE. This is to let all the new people know about the prayer chain. We want as many as can to join us for our prayer sessions for our Adventist brothers and sisters.
