We just got home from China with our new daughter. We had a wonderful trip! God kept us all healthy, and although I had a nervous breakdown half way through about having left my sons at home, my sons did ok without me. We had a wonderful Christmas with our new little girl. SHe fits in with our family very well. Please visit our site and peruse our pics! www.journeytome.com username and password are both: lee -tanya-

Tanya, What an awesome experience you've had and what a joy little Anna will be to you and your family. I've met three families in the past year who have adopted little Chinese girls and all have had absolutely wonderful experiences from start to finish. What a beautiful child Anna is. I'll be celebrating Dec. 22 right along with you from now on. That was the day my son was born! Just brought him home Saturday. May God continue to richly bless you and the whole clan. Congratulations! Heretic

Tanya, Congratulations on your adoption of a beautiful, little girl. Sylvia and I have three daughters (adults now), so we are partial to little girls--"for without them, what would little boys do?" Dennis Fischer |

tanya, Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your story. And the pictures of your beautiful daughter. I just finished reading a book by Spurgeon today about Grace. In in he talks about Gods unrelenting pursual of his own. How he trailblazes out paths to our hearts, to redeem His children. Your story, the great length's that your family went to for this one special child, gave me a "picture" of God's pursuit of me, and each one of us. Thanks for the parable of sorts, which cements a great truth. JavaGirl |

tanya, congratulations on your adoption! My wife is Chinese-American, and we thought about the same option but it never worked out for us, but I am sure happy for you. What a great Christmas present. Javagirl, Spurgeon is terrific! Anything he writes on Grace would be right in line with scripture. God does pursue all of His elect, and goes to great lengths to ensure our salvation by sending Jesus to die to save us. That is the Christmas message. Stan |

Thanks for all the congratulations. Our household is BUSY but happy. Anna is adjusting. Even though she is young, she is still grieving the losses in her short life. She has her fragile moments, as well as her very sad, and very angry moments. It is strange to see such intense emotion in one so young. But at least she is working it out. She is getting more attached to us every day. For the most part, she is a very happy, bubbly little girl. thanks for your thoughts and prayers as we all adjust to being a family of five. And congrats, Heretic on your new addition as well. God is blessing us richly! -tanya- |

Congratulations, Tanya! What a precious little girl, Anna is. I love the name Anna. It is my daughter's name, too. Javagirl, Thanks reminding me of "Gods unrelenting pursual of his own. How he trailblazes out paths to our hearts, to redeem His children." |
