For all the new members of this forum, who may not have gone down far enough to find out what the prayer chain is about, I am reposting it here. The prayer chain was started about a year ago because we all have loved ones, family and friends in Satan's clutches in the SDA church. We decided to set apart time to pray for them, when we pray at the same time. The first time is Friday evening at sundown in our own time zones. The second time is Saturday afternoon at 1 PM, PT, 4 PM ET and what ever the time is in your time zone. On Saturday we pray as a group, even though we are scattered. But God is still in the midst of us and hears our prayers. Here is our list of who we pray for: 1. All SDAs from the GC down to the smallest church in the world. 2. All unchurched members. All the agnostics, atheists and unbelievers, like those on Spectrum are included in this category. 3. All those who are coming under the influence of SDAs through such things as the Revelation Seminars. 4. All Christians who think SDAs are just another Christian church. 5. All those writing on R/S, Spectrum, CARM and similar sites. 6. We pray for each other, that God will use us to teach others His love and about what Jesus did for each of us and that the Holy Spirit fill us. If I left anyone out, please let me know or if there is a group to be added, let me know that also. God loves each of us and has built a mansion in heaven for us that we can live with him. I will take a mouse hole, thank you, as long as I am there. He is so awesome. Diana |

Thank you Diana for continuing these important reminders. I agree, that special prayer is needed at this time for those who are posting on Spectrum at this time. We have seen evidence of the anger and bitterness continuing to be expressed over there. We pray that the Lord will open their eyes, so they will see that Jesus is the true Sabbath rest. Stan |

A WEEKLY REMINDER FOR THE PRAYER CHAIN. There are so many new people this past week and it is so good to see you posting here. Please join us in our prayer chain. Read the brief history above about why we started it. The first time we pray is Friday evening at sundown in our own time zones. The second time is Saturday afternoon at 1 PM, PT, 4 PM ET and what ever the time is in your time zone. On Saturday we pray as a group, even though we are scattered. The Bible tells us ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened. So that is what we are doing and God is bringing people to Him. That is so awesome. Diana

I had another senior moment so posted this on Wednesday instead of Thursday evening. I get so enthused about all of us praying and seeing so many new people on the forum, that I just have to remind us to keep on praying. God is so awesome in how He answers prayers and works in each person's life. Diana |

Diana, I for one will "forgive" you for your enthusiasm and love for others in prayer. Thanks for your dedication to this ministry. Richard rtruitt@mac.com PS: Sorry I missed you when you were in Redlands visiting but I was up north longer than I expected. I thought I'd be back earlier in the week and had marked your visit on the calendar so I was aware I was missing it. |

Richard, I will be back in February and will fly there on Thursday evening so I can attend the Bible study on Friday night. This is for the weekend of the reunion. My sister may go with me. She will help me make enchiladas-chicken and vegetarian-for the weekend. So, though I am sorry you were not there, we will meet. Diana |

Hello everybody, I'm not sure if this is the latest move of the prayer thread but I couldn't find another one above this one. So I'd like to tell you all what the Lord has done for me in answer to many years of prayer. As many already know on this forum, I haven't been to Church in years due to many reasons. Some doctrinal, some due to no way to get to Church and then of course the many many Churches that are inaccessible for people in power wheelchairs. However, I've been praying and it is my belief that some here have also been praying for me with respect to finding a Church that is accessible, and that would be one the Lord would have me attend. Here's a Praise report so we can all praise our Lord Jesus Christ together for His Faithfulness! Tuesday night, yes yesterday night, the Lord not only picked out a very great Church but He also saw to it that I had a way there and that it was an accessible Church. I'm so thankful and thrilled that I don't know what exactly to type. Let me just say that this little Church is perfect for me and is Scripturally right on! The people there are exactly the type of people anyone on this forum would be happy to meet and worship with. They are all very nice people and absolutely on fire for our Lord Jesus Christ! The music was real beautiful worship music and the Pastor preached out of Philippians, 1st and 2nd Peter and Timothy. This Pastor didn't hold back his zeal nor his seriousness on this issue he preached about. Let me tell you all that I'm so very happy and excited over what the Lord has done for me! He has heard my prayers and your prayers and He has answered our prayers! What Faithfulness He shows to us all! Praise Him everybody, He has led this very lonely servant of His to a group of very like-minded Christians and my thanks to Him are from the depths of my heart. I'd like also, to once again, thank all of you who prayed in my behalf. May God Bless you all for your kindnesses! In Christ Jesus. denise |
