Good question! Is it the weekend closest to President's Day again? IIRC, that should be around February 15-17 or so.

Oh, good! I'm looking forward to meeting you! It promises to be especially good this year. One our of presenters is Kaspars Ozolins, a former Adventist who is a research associate at Tyndale House in Cambridge. Kaspars is young...twenty-something--and is an amazing expositor and thinker. Gary Inrig will present, Dale Ratzlaff, Paul Carden, and we'll have great fellowship!

Just Curious, how many people usually attend the conference. Looking forward to learning more.

The conference sizes vary. This year it looks like we'll have between 70 and 80 attending. It will be a great weekend!

Man after coming down from such a powerful weekend, I just wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts and give some thank you's. I felt like such a babbling mess, any time I attempted to speak, at the conference. First I want to thank everyone involved who organized it; Richard and Colleen thank you SO much for your dedication to this Ministry. To have a place to go, where people understand where you have come from, with Adventism, is so comforting. No one can understand truly, unless they have been part of the SDA church. As much as those that love us, try to understand, they can never fully understand the indoctrination that takes place. I want to thank the members of your church, who took time to serve, make food and just set the environment. Such lovely people. I want to thank each speaker, my head is still spinning from all the valuable teaching that took place. I seriously need to rewatch each message. Thank you thank you thank you.

As I was driving away from Loma Linda on Monday, I had some time with God to reflect on the weekend. He gave me this thought. For 30 min before my plane landed, we went through turbulence, it was pretty scary. We landed and it was POURING rain, rained all the way, as I drove to Loma Linda. I could not see any landmarks and could barely see even 30 feet in front of me. During the conference, since we were there from early morning until late evening, I did not spend much time outside and it was still rainy most of the time. After Sunday's church service I was very mentally warn out, I went back to my hotel room and rested until I woke up the next Day. When I woke up on Monday there was barely a cloud in the sky, everything was visible, that was not visible the days before, the mountains around me were crystal clear, brilliant and covered with snow, the foot hill were vibrant green, it was just beautiful. As I drove down the road, my radio playing "There is Power in the name of Jesus" I thought about the weather and how this was an analogy of my life that before this weekend, there had been a dreary, unclear feeling, that I just could not seem to shake. I could not see the beauty of his truth. I did not truly understand The pure Gospel of Jesus Christ and how Adventism had veiled and obscured me from seeing His PURE truth. I was missing all the truly BEAUTIFUL things that God wanted to show me through him, and not through my own striving. God will use anything to teach us, I believe he used the weather to show me this weekend his love for me. That He will direct my path, He will clear my mind and show me his truths. That there is beauty and clarity in him. His perfect love will cast out all my fears.

Before I left on Thursday I read this Psalm 25:4-5 Show me your ways, Lord. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me. For You are God my Savior and my hope is in you all day long.
His word did NOT return void. Praise God.

If you are part of this Forum, and have not attended a conference I would highly recommend doing so. God will meet you right where you are at and break off any chains that still bind you. WOW I am so so thankful.
