We just put up a really nicely done video on the Proclamation! blog site. Delina McPhaull put this together and it deals with how the stories many of us grew up with don't jibe with the biblical accounts of the same events. The link is here:

That was an excellent video! Delina did a great job!
Certainly, what was covered in the video were things I encountered in my studies that led me out of SDAism to the Biblical gospel of Christ. |

Wonderful, wonderful, Delina!
The Biblical detail about Eve being with Adam (Gen. 3: 6) shocked me to my toes. After "giving up" EGW, it was the first thing I "saw" when reading the Bible. A lifelong SDA, I can tell you that I had never "seen" this verse before I quit believing in her. It was absolutely weird.

This video is awesome. I'm praying for an opportunity to get my mom to watch this. She is always trying to share SDA beliefs with my children when I'm not around. I shared this video on Facebook. My mom isn't on Facebook but my step dad is. Maybe he will watch it and show it to her. |
