For any SDAs reading this, I'd like to ask a couple questions. What does this mean? "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1-2 Is this true that there's really no condemnation for those who are IN Jesus? Are you IN Jesus? And if so, why would you have to face an investigative judgment? What about this verse? "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." John 5:24 What about the investigative judgment? So did the apostles Peter and John come into judgment or not, when 1844 rolled around? This verse says they didn't. |

And here's another verse for any Adventists reading this: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2nd Corinthians 5:17 So is this verse true? If someone is a new creation, how can he be doing what the SDA church commands? Pushing-the-sin-out-by-Jesus'-strength-and-if-you-keep-doing-that-you-will-be-saved. Isn't that what Ellen White was teaching when she said that no one can say they're saved because they can be tempted? That also contradicts Titus 3:5 (and other verses) where it says that the believer HAS BEEN saved. Either the Bible is true or Ellen White is true. They can't both be true. I appeal to any Adventists reading this to trust the Bible - to let it speak for itself; instead of reading the Bible through Ellen White. |
