I want to remind everyone to plan to come to the FAF weekend February 15-17, 2013, in Redlands! Our primary presenter this year will be Jon Rittenhouse, a favorite speaker from past years. Our Friday evening talk on the night we invite the local pastors and Christians from the community will be Dale Ratzlaff. He has shown us his sermon for that night, and it is incredible. He wil be presenting "Five Doctrines of Adventism that Undermine the Gospel", and I have to say, it is powerful. Also on Friday evening, Paul Carden will give his personal testimony of how he came to understand the deep darkness and danger of Adventism, and Elaina Matthews will share her faith story. Other speakers for the weekend include Carolyn Macomber, Colleen Tinker, and others. Music again will be led by Sharon Strum. Eternal_joy~ I agree~it is totally worth whatever it takes to get there! My first time was, 2011~ circumstances prevented me from attending last year. If I were to come out there I may decide to stay there and not come back to Florida. But I can't do that. I have found my calling in letting other people(here at the church I attend) know about the cultic nature of the Seventh-day Adventist church. But I will definitely watch the Live-streaming sessions on my computer. | ||

I certainly plan on being there...I had hoped to be able to pay for it myself- but the job ended up being a wash. However I'm certain the Lord will provide...another job and a way to attend. I really enjoyed the live stream chat and talking with all of you through it. | ||

And while we're talking about the FAF weekend...please pray for it. Pray that God will send those He knows need to attend, that He will protect and bless all presenters and organizers, and that He will glorify Himself and people will come to know Him. We have a couple of friends who are former JWs who are coming this year as well. They are not currently churched but are Christians...and I'm so happy they're coming. We all know how HARD it is to integrate into Christianity after leaving a cult; I'm glad this couple is coming. Please continue to pray and talk it up. There is always a palpable spiritual battle surrounding the weekend. It's to be expected; nevertheless, we have to stand dressed in the armor of God and trust Him. Thank you! Colleen | ||

I'm really getting excited about the coming FAF weekend. it's going to be such fun to hear Laini give her story AND sing! Other faith stories will be by Julius Botelho and Raul Lopez. It's such a cross section of generations and experiences...I love hearing the ways God works to bring us to Himself! There's still time and space to register.
