I was dumfounded to see a family member with the "Ellen White Study Bible" I went to http://egwstudybible.org, and http://the remnantstudybible.com I haven't had the time yet to look into it, but the 'trinity' is now in question, as EGW has been added to the Holy Bible? What it has done is make my decision of many years ago make complete sense. |

Is that what they are calling it? Score 0 for Thomas Nelson publishers. Seems to me Nelson used to be a trusted publisher, not anymore. Guess they went for the money? River |

I just went to the link and sent them a message. I am sure it will be deleted but at least I got it off my chest. This is the message I sent to Thomas Nelson publishers. "Thomas Nelson used to be a trusted publisher. That has definitely changed with the publication of this book. Adding the words of a FALSE 'prophet' into the text of a BIBLE is a travesty and just so TOTALLY wrong !!!!! I guess the almighty $$$$$ spoke to the publishers at Thomas Nelson louder than the words of God. I feel great sadness for everyone responsible for this. " |

I read some of the 'testimonials' of people who received this Bible. Quote... "I finally received my awesome Bible, It is the greatest Bible I have ever owned. This truly has everything a person needs to understand the Bible. I would like to take it to heaven and see Jesus face when I show it to him." |

I would like to see Jesus' face when they show it to Him too. Wow. It just blows my mind how totally blind you'd have to be to accept this!!! What would an SDA say to a Mormon who put Joseph Smith's ideas into a Bible? You can guess. |

I can go back further than most of you and I can remember the sda's condemning the JW's for their bible and how wrong it was. I guess they can not do that anymore. Is this the bible that incorporates her writings into each verse? Gail |

If you go to the sites listed above, they actually have the book of Genesis, and you can click on each page, E Whites quotes are in blue. |

Personally, I would NOT like to see Jesus face upon being shown that rag. I am sure the look on His face would show sorrow, and I would not want to witness that. |

Gcfrankie, the Remnant Study Bible has EGW quotes scattered throughout the text in blue boxes placed strategically near passages that she "explains" further. So while her stuff is not incorporated into the text as it is in The Clear Word (paraphrase), it is inserted in explanatory boxes right between the paragraphs of the Bible. Colleen |
