Now this is cool! As I watched this I couldn't help but reflect on the arrogance of my Adventist past. I know I would have seen this before and sadly wondered how many of them would burn in the lake of fire for rejecting the Sabbath and I would secretly wonder how God could do such a thing to people who really obviously loved Him. Now that I know what they know-- I want to dance too!!!! http://youtu.be/i5dSIL358NM |

Wouldn't it be super fun to do something like this! Phil and Lynn, I understand the tears. I had the chills and a HUGE smile plastered on my face and was so moved. I loved the line, "Because of Jesus, it's independence day!" When the video is over you can see other videos advertised on the side and there is one that talks about revival in Hungary. I couldn't watch all of it but they interviewed a leader in an underground church that began in 1979. I believe the Christians who truly risk their lives for Jesus know far better than most American Christians what it is to take up their cross and follow. Through their complete trust in His care for them, I think they experience a walk with Christ that most people don't understand. They have no choice but to let Him be their all in all. I gotta go watch that again... |

OK guys, this is the one that did it. I cried through this one. This is the 2011 resurrection dance and it's done all over the world. This video is the one from China. I don't know how many of you get Voice of the Martyrs or have read in other places the lives that have been tortured and lost to get the gospel into China, but if you haven't I encourage you to look into it. VOM is free (it doesn't only cover China). We have family all over the world guys!!!! http://youtu.be/10imQBiZnxk |

I swear we need to do this thing at Trinity...you don't need skill you just need to learn the moves and if you mess up God laughs with you. |

This is awesome! I just can't get over how impacting the resurrection is now that I know I have eternal life...because of His resurrection. All those years of not "getting it"...praise God He is redeeming them! Colleen |

It moved me... Couldn't help comparing a youtube smoebody shared of a flashmob in which the message was "Jesus is coming and we"re not ready". I've traded my sorrows for the joy of the Lord.... Thank God for the opportunity to live in the light of the resurrection and leave the anxiety and insecurity behind. C'est fini. I may have three left feet but I'm dancing on the inside. \o/ Paul Cross |

Had to spam this to Facebook and Twitter - the one on Budapest. They looked so happy, so real. We're missing something here and I feel left out after seeing it. No, never mind, I'll just get watching that again and again. |

Hajrá magyarok! (Go for it Hungarians)! I never even heard about this! I'm glad the faith church did this as a witness to the resurrection of Jesus! The setting is Heroes' Square (Hõsök tere) in Budapest, where a lot of the big political rallies are held. Awesome location! Adrian |

I just saw some of it again with the sound off (husband is trying to sleep). Watching it on mute makes me think of what it was like being an Adventist on the outside of Christian worship looking in. It looked silly sometimes, I didn't understand it, I didn't "get" why the people were moved as they were, but seeing them moved was inspiring to me and moved me. I wanted in on whatever they had. It was like watching the dancing, but not "hearing the music and lyrics". Now I have the same song in my heart! |

Free2dance, I just watched the China dance in Macau & like you I wept through it. I also just this morning read Richard Wurmbrand's description of dancing to God in his solitary confinement prison cell. ". . but alone in my cell, cold, hungry, and in rags, I danced for joy every night. . . . Later I learned that many others--Jews, Pentecostals, early Christians, people in the Bible like David and Miriam, altar-boys in Seville Cathedral celebrating Easter--even today also danced for God. Words alone have never been able to say what man feels in the nearness of divinity. Sometimes I was so filled with joy that I felt I would burst if I did not give it expression." NOT DANCING -- another evil lie we were taught. Thank you for this posting! All Glory & Honor & praise to HIM, our Great Savior. If there was NO RESURRECTION we have no hope. How can we not celebrate, praise, & dance!?!?! J9 |
