Resurrection Day has become something I look forward to every year now...I look forward to it with an excitement that I wouldn't have understood previously. The significance of the cross and the empty tomb is more than I can fathom. I found another Christian DVD on Netflix ("Prophecies of the Passion"--58 min.) It is an overview of many of the OT prophecies and their fulfillment in the NT...worth watching to remind yourself of the precise detail prophesying the Messiah. Zechariah, Isaiah 53, the Psalms--wow! A couple things that stood out for me: Christ coming only during the time of the Roman Empire, because of the prophecies of being pierced by crucifixion...and one of the narrators shared that the Jewish prayer Christ would have prayed before the Last Supper/Passover meal says in part "God who brings forth bread from the earth" (along with Jesus previously stating "I am the Bread of Life") was a prophecy of His resurrection...neat, huh? | ||

I love Resurrection Day more and more every year since I left adventism. Just knowing that Jesus Christ died for me and was resurrected. What awesome God He is. Diana | ||
