While looking around online today I found a website promoting Rob Bell's new book entitled, Love Wins:A book about Heaven, Hell, and Every Person Who Ever Lived.

This is abook writen by a pastor from Mars Hill Bible Church in Mich. Here is a quote from him:

"Millions and millions of people were taught that the primary message, the center of the gospel of Jesus, is that God is going to send you to hell unless you believe in Jesus. So what gets subtly sort of caught and taught is that Jesus rescues you from God. How could that God ever be good? ... And how could that ever be good news?"

He is teaching a type of universalism. Convenient...for itchy ears.

I actually found out about this on a Southern California SDA pastor's FB page. He was promoting it there and on the Rob Bell page. His comments were "liked" by another SDA pastor.

OK, lets be honest. Hell doesn't sound like a very "nice" teaching. I get that. It is really hard to understand God's ways. But I am so sad by the fact that these "leaders" are SO invested in finding someone to scratch their "itchy ears" that they are even aloud to stray from SDA theology and continue on as leaders AS LONG as they don't rat out EGW.

WHY don't the lay people see through it? Why didn't I?

The Bible teaches Hell. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the ONLY way to God. The Word of God, Jesus Christ, God Himself teaches us these things.

Sigh...I used to wonder how on earth so many Jews missed who Jesus was. It's not such a mystery. If people don't want to see truth- they just can't see it. No matter when you are born, the blind are blind. Period.

It's too bad Rob Bell and others have completely missed the Gospel message. God gives us the free will to choose where we want to spend eternity. Choose Christ as your Lord and Savior and spend eternity with Him. Choose to continue where you are, which is blinded by satan, and you can spend eternity with him. Hell was made for satan and the fallen angels, man chooses to go there.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:15-21)

We decide.
